3 & 4 Year Old Kinder
3 Year Old Kinder entry age: children must be 3 years old by the end of April of the commencement year.
4 Year Old Kinder entry age: children must be 4 years old by the end of April of the commencement year.
Created and led by Bachelor qualified teachers, our 3 & 4 Year Old Kinder Programs are planned around extending children’s interests and strengths. We encourage children to find the answers to questions via ‘trial and error’ and discussion. Our teachers are passionate about creating a learning environment that is stimulating, safe and secure. Children and teachers use story-telling, music, art, craft and role play to discover, discuss and reflect upon learning experiences. Freedom to explore and play in a creative environment offers children the opportunity to confidently grow and learn.

Throughout their day in 3 & 4 Year Old Kinder, the children move between the specialist learning spaces with teacher-led activities to encourage problem solving, working together and participation. The class follow various learning topics throughout the year building a vibrant, interactive curriculum. We also value the benefits of play and children are given plenty of time to extend their own interests, test their physical capabilities and learn to work together.

3YO KINDER TERM BY TERM SYLLABUS

Term One: EMOTIONAL WELLBEING
In Term One we focus on building supportive relationships between the children, teachers and each other.

Term Two: COMMUNITY
Term Two involves looking at our wider community and developing empathy, acceptance and understanding of different cultures and traditions.
Term Three: DISPOSITIONS FOR LEARNING
In Term Three, we work on extending and broadening children’s interests and skills to promote their enthusiasm for learning.

Term Four: CONSOLIDATION & REFLECTION
Term Four is the culmination of our Kinder year where we continue to refine some of the skills we have worked on, and proudly look back at how far we have come!
4YO KINDER TERM BY TERM SYLLABUS

Term One: RELATIONSHIP BUILDING & IDENTITY
In Term One, we focus on getting to know one another and learning about what makes each member of the class special and unique.
​
Term Two: THE WORLD AROUND US
Term Two explores the world around us and our place in it. We look at community, cultures and commence our weekly excursions to the local park.

Term Three: INQUIRY & INVESTIGATION
Term Three involves diving deeper into our learning and developing complex skills and thought processes such as reflective thinking, reasoning and problem solving as well as investigation through play and exploration.

Term Four: SCHOOL READINESS
Our program receives much praise from school teachers, for how well prepared, happy and content the children from Bubbles are. With a focus on emotional resilience and self esteem, the children are well equipped with confidence to face the challenges of ‘big school’.
